Charter Sales and Dispatch

Aero Centers Aircraft Charter & Management department is currently seeking a professional dispatch scheduler with experience in office management and sales. Qualified applicants are well organized and self-motivated. They will have strong problem-solving, analytical, computer, and communication skills. Experience in the industry is preferred and an FAA Dispatcher Certificate is a plus, but we will train the right person. Typical functions include:

Charter Sales and Scheduling

  • Quoting and scheduling customer requests including coordination of departure times, FBO locations, flight times, routing, ground transportation, catering, and other requests.
  • Utilizing aircraft brokerage tools to sell trips.
  • Maintain schedule of aircraft and crew & coordinate with maintenance as necessary. Ensure safe and legal coordination of scheduled flights and that all crew member duty times are scheduled in accordance with FAR 135.
  • Communicate changes made to the flight schedule and/or tail number reassignments with the appropriate departments.
  • Always keep the schedule of availability of aircraft and crew up to date.
  • Invoice all charter flights and management services.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers and brokers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation, business, or operations management preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of FARs part 91 and 135 preferred but not required
  • Previous dispatch, aviation, or customer service preferred but not required
  • Flexibility to work some assigned nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime on a rotating remote on-call schedule
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work from both the dispatch office and the home office
  • Hourly rate established on experience, plus monthly sales incentive, and overtime eligible
