Job Title: Vice President of Finance

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Finance to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The VP of Finance will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, developing strategies for financial growth, and managing financial risks. This position requires a firsthand supervisor who can lead and mentor their department effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure sound fiscal management.
- Oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Manage financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Lead and manage the audit process.
- Monitor cash flow, manage liquidity, and optimize capital structure.
- Coordinate and prepare for tax filings.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual filings to lenders.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business strategies.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and the board of directors.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience with a multi-site company is preferred.
- Experience with private equity backed companies is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
- Proven experience in fiscal management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- The ability to multi-task is a must.
