Job Title: Vice President of Finance

Location: Atlanta, GA

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Finance to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The VP of Finance will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, developing strategies for financial growth, and managing financial risks. This position requires a firsthand supervisor who can lead and mentor their department effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure sound fiscal management.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Manage financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  • Lead and manage the audit process.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage liquidity, and optimize capital structure.
  • Coordinate and prepare for tax filings.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual filings to lenders.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business strategies.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and the board of directors.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience with a multi-site company is preferred.
  • Experience with private equity backed companies is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience in fiscal management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • The ability to multi-task is a must.
