The Line Service Technician is a customer service position that is responsible for supporting all ground operations for inbound and outbound aircraft, flight crews and passengers. Line Service Technicians require the following: good decision-making skills, the ability to follow company procedures; flexibility in a dynamic working environment; as well as possess good interpersonal skills. Line Service Technicians work with fuels and other flammable and hazardous materials. As such, proper procedures must be followed. Operating vehicles and moving aircraft in close proximity of people, buildings and other aircraft require extreme caution. Procedures must be followed for your personal safety as well as the safety of others and protection of company and customer property.
Responsibilities:
- Completion of provided NATA Safety First program
- Greet, park, tow, move and marshal aircraft arriving or departing ramp area
- Fueling/defueling aircraft as requested
- Move passenger/crew cars as required
- Ground power servicing
- Assist passengers and/or crew with baggage/cargo as needed
- Assist with general cleaning of debris from ramp, building and customer area
- Routine daily quality control inspections and procedures of re-fuelers
- Provide oil service for aircraft
- Reloading of fuel vehicles
- All associated record keeping
- Regular and prompt attendance
- Work with accuracy, with an eye for detail
- Provide excellent customer service
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
Aviation or ground handling: 1 year (Preferred)
Expectations:
Deliver a proactive, personalized service experience to private and business aviation clientele.
Provide a variety of aircraft services, including marshaling, fueling, hangar storage, towing and other ground support.
Coordinate and direct ramp movements for arriving and departing aircraft.
Operate ground service equipment, such as tugs, fuel trucks and transport vans in a safe manner.
Additional responsibilities may include providing shuttle service for passengers/crew as needed.
Read, understand and adhere to expectations and responsibilities set forth by management.
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Experience with aviation ground handling preferred.
Basic reading, writing and math skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adaptable to change.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Must possess a valid state Driver's License.
Ability to work 6:00 AM TO 2:00 PM shift & holidays.

$16.00 per hour.
