Job Title: Bilingual Program Manager- Residential Community Sites

Department: Residential Services

Reports to: Assistant Director of Residential and Nursing Services

Pay: $58,240

FLSA: Exempt

Purpose of Position- The Residential Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Imagine! Residential Community Sites program, including supervising personnel, program planning, building and maintaining relationships with contracted caregivers, and implementation of policies and procedures. The Program Manager monitors regulatory compliance, quality of services, and financial viability of the program. The Program manager will work with the residential team, Assistant Director, and other staff throughout Imagine! to advance organizational goals and quality initiatives.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide management of the daily operations of the Residential Community Sites program.
  • Programmatic monitoring, coordinating and reporting of the Residential Community Sites to ensure program quality and regulatory compliance, and address all program concerns.
  • Promote quality of services through staff, client, guardian and stakeholder satisfaction, in accordance with departmental mission and goals.
  • Outreach to encourage and attract new individuals and families to receive Imagine! Residential Services. Includes meet-and-greets and supporting individuals and families through the onboarding process.
  • Supervise a team of Residential Coordinators, including hiring, training, mentoring/performance management, and disciplinary action.
  • Assist to develop, implement, and monitor departmental budget under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Residential and Nursing Services. Create and implement action plans to address budget variances.
  • Familiarize and maintain knowledge base on current regulation and policy to ensure duties are performed in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
  • Contribute as a member of the Residential Management team, regularly seeking to develop and implement programs, processes, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Respond to emergency situations on a 24 hour basis, working with case managers, residential coordinators, etc.
  • Represents the Residential program in the community, attending county and state meetings, remaining knowledgeable on legislative changes, etc.
  • This position requires regular use of a personal vehicle with liability insurance that meets Imagine! standards.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • General knowledge of the developmental disabilities system in Colorado.
  • Demonstrated skill in working with people with developmental disabilities and their families.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills at a professional level.
  • Effective and creative negotiator and problem solver.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks/goals for self and others.
  • Ability to work effectively with various technology including Microsoft Office Suite, internet-based databases, Electronic Health Records, assistive technology, etc.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to meet Imagine! driving requirements.
  • This position requires regular use of a personal mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.

Training/Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s in Human Services preferred.

Experience:

  • Two years experience managing a similar program highly preferred.
  • A minimum of two years related experience required.

Working Environment/Physical Activities

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Effective with shifting roles, responsibilities, and expectations in a changing environment.
  • Willingness and ability to respond to emergency situations as they arise.
