Status:                          Full time (40 hours/week), temporary (8 weeks)              

Salary Range:                $20/hour 

Location:                      Dixon Building

Schedule:                     M-F 9-5

 

Purpose of Position

 

This position is for 8 weeks of a full-time (40 hours/week) temporary employee to perform short surveys about the housing needs of each individual client via phone. This survey will include current housing and prospective housing along with the demographics of client and caregiver.   

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Professional communication via phone or e-mail with individuals with disabilities and/or their families.

 

Job Qualifications

 

            Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks/goals.
  • Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills with clients and families.
  • Ability to work efficiently with various technology. including word processing software, e-mail, databases, and general internet skills.

 

Training/Education:

  • High school diploma required.

 

 

Working Environment/Physical Activities: 

  • Ability to be on the phone multiple hours per day
  • Ability to enter data into a spreadsheet while talking on the phone with clients/families
