This position plays a critical role supporting all areas of Imagine! and our most valuable asset, our employees. Qualified candidates will have a strong track record handling all areas of human resources and have the agility to juggle multiple tasks and demands.
Purpose of Position- Supports Imagine! through work in multiple areas of Human Resources, including coordinating employment activities, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Assists employees with general HR needs and questions, is a resource for managers and employees in regard to employee relations and problem solving.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
General HR duties
- Responds to general inquiries from employees regarding benefits, employment, training and development, performance, compensation, and employee engagement.
- Recruitment activities including creating job descriptions, posting jobs, resume review, phone screens, and managing talent pipelines.
- Employee relations.
- Provide back up support to the HR team.
- Participate in managers and supervisor trainings.
Day to Day HR Responsibilities:
- Works closely with all levels of management regarding full cycle recruitment and strategy
- Sources, screens, and interviews potential candidates to ensure they are the best qualified candidate based on job qualifications.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation of new hires and offboarding of exiting employees including ensuring that compliance standards are met.
- Serves as point of contact for employee questions, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Maintains HRIS and employee files, as well as other systems related to benefits or other HR functions.
- Works with managers and employees to identify training and development goals.
- Assists managers and employees in performance management practices, advising and coaching as needed
- Administers benefits and leave programs, answers questions, conducts open enrollment, and provides education and support as needed.
- Partners with payroll to resolve any payroll related matters.
- Ensures compliance with various federal, state, local regulations as well as Imagine! policies and procedures.
- Cross train in all areas of HR in order to support the HR team
- This position requires occasional use of a personal vehicle with liability insurance that meets Imagine! standards.
