Position Overview: The Sales Coordinator will support and coordinate a team of 20 Sales Consultants to drive the company’s sales initiatives. This role requires a dynamic facilitator who will enable the sales team to achieve peak performance while serving as the primary liaison to the office.
The ideal candidate is a jack-of-all-trades with high energy and exceptional communication skills. This versatile position demands adaptability and a solutions-oriented mindset—someone who can seamlessly transition between coordinating team activities, managing administrative priorities, and supporting strategic plans to advance business objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Team Leadership & Development
- Support 20+ sales associates across multiple regions by coordinating resources, tools, and operational systems to enable successful sales performance.
- Coordinate regular training programs to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and customer service abilities.
- Develop expert skills in contracts, pitch materials, and rebate programs to effectively support and train the sales consultants.
- Proactively research rebate programs and new offerings, generating content to be refined and summarized for the team.
Sales Operations & Process Management
- Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases and maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for contracts and client records (e.g., Salesforce).
- Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, legal standards, and ethical sales practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between Sales Associates, Sales Consultants, and other departments, including marketing, business development, and the rebates team, to ensure seamless operations.
- Coordinate with marketing to provide the sales team with the necessary promotional materials and resources.
- Prepare agendas for bi-weekly sales meetings and facilitate productive discussions.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assist mgmt. in monitoring team performance.
- Provide detailed reports and forecasts to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and suggested strategy adjustments.
Administrative Support
- Oversee sales process documentation and maintain organized systems for tracking consultant performance and sales metrics.
- Coordinate conferences, client meetings, and company events to support sales initiatives.
- Handle ad hoc requests and projects as needed to support the sales team and leadership.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 4+ years of sales experience, preferably within renewable energy, EV, or infrastructure industries.
- Strong ability to manage, inspire, and drive high-performing sales teams.
- Proven experience in sales operations, administrative support, or a similar role.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time

Compensation:
- This is a full-time salaried position with a base salary range of 90,000–$120,000 annually.
