Job Description: Asset Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asset Manager to optimize the operation and income of our expanding solar and EV charger. The ideal candidate will oversee the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) department, currently consisting of 3 service technicians, ensuring optimal system performance and uptime across all assets. This role is crucial for maintaining our commitment to high standards of operational excellence.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead the O&M team, ensuring that all members effectively close service tickets and maintain high levels of productivity.
- Identify means to increase income generation activities from existing assets
- Create and implement new strategies to enhance team performance, streamline operations, and improve maintenance and service requests response times.
- Utilize system monitoring software to track and analyze asset performance metrics, ensuring the optimal functioning of all EV charging stations and solar energy systems.
- Oversee the allocation of team resources and time, ensuring that efforts are prioritized effectively to meet operational goals and client expectations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring transparent communication regarding maintenance updates, ticket status, and service quality.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency of the O&M team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with various software manufacturers to ensure effective collaboration and support under warranty agreements.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in asset management, field operations, or O&M, preferably in the renewable energy or EV infrastructure sector.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, EV charging infrastructure, and monitoring platforms.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in client-facing environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and asset monitoring platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or related field.
- Ability to travel as needed to perform site assessments, team supervision, and client meetings.

Compensation:
This is a full-time salaried position with a salary range of $110,000–$120,000 annually
