Position Overview: Green Water and Power is actively seeking a dedicated and capable Senior Level EV Installer to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our mission to promote sustainable transportation solutions, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and upkeep of electric vehicle charging stations. Your expertise will help drive the widespread adoption of electric vehicles and contribute to a greener future.
Responsibilities:
Installation and Maintenance:
- Execute the installation, inspection, and maintenance of electric vehicle charging stations across diverse settings, including residential, commercial, and public sites.
- Electrical Wiring of EV Charger System (AC and DC)
- Ensure the required tools and equipment are in good working order and ensure project site is always safe.
- Coordinate Procurement and delivery of materials to the jobsite in advance.
- Undertake electrical tasks such as wiring, conduit installation, and electrical panel enhancements to facilitate the seamless integration of EV charging stations.
- Mechanical/structural mounting of EV chargers and electrical equipment
- Layout and assembly of equipment.
- Electrical wiring of EV charger systems (AC and DC)
- Establish positive customer interactions by conveying clear and concise explanations of installation procedures, maintenance routines, and troubleshooting protocols.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner, guaranteeing utmost customer satisfaction.

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all installations, maintenance undertakings, and repair interventions.
- Arrange for and conduct inspections with local AHJs.

- Comply rigorously with safety regulations, protocols, and industry benchmarks to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your peers.
- Ensure the required tools and equipment are in good working order and ensure project site is always safe.

- Organize and train junior employees to stay on task throughout the workday.
- Partake in company training when required.
- All other assignments and special projects, as requested by Management.
Qualifications:

- Previous hands-on experience (3+ years) in electrical installation, maintenance, or a related field.
- Electrical License and/or solar certification a plus
- Adequate knowledge of the NEC, Article 690.
- Proficiency in electrical wiring, conduit deployment, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with EV charging equipment and pertinent technologies.
- Knowledgeable about local electrical codes and regulations.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities, coupled with the capacity to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance, required.
- Experience with the safe use of hand-held power tools.

- High School Diploma or GED required.
