Position Overview: Green Water and Power is actively seeking a dedicated and capable Junior Level EV Installer to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our mission to promote sustainable transportation solutions, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and upkeep of electric vehicle charging stations. Your expertise will help drive the widespread adoption of electric vehicles and contribute to a greener future.

Responsibilities:

Installation and Electrical

• Electrical wiring of commercial EV charging systems (AC and DC).

• Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules, EV chargers, and electrical equipment.
• Layout and assembly of solar modules/array and mounting hardware on ground.
• Adhere strictly to installation guidelines, electrical codes, and safety protocols to ensure the safe and effective operation of EV charging equipment.
• Ensure required tools and equipment is in good working order.
• Undertake electrical tasks such as wiring, conduit installation, and electrical panel. enhancements to facilitate the seamless integration of EV charging stations.

 

Adherence to Safety Standards:

• • Comply rigorously with safety regulations, protocols, and industry benchmarks to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your peers.
  • Institute comprehensive safety precautions during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities to avert potential accidents and hazards.
  • Properly dispose of trash and recyclable materials at the job site.

 

 Training and Development:

• • Stay abreast of the latest developments in EV charging technologies, industry trends, and best practices through continuous learning and professional advancement.
  • Must be responsive to emails and phone calls from crew and management (within 24 hours)
  • Always behave in a professional manner.
  • Partake in company training when required.

Qualifications:

• • 0-3 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding/experience with electrical wiring of AC and DC systems is preferred.
  • Electrical trainee card required.
  • Eager to learn and acquire new technical proficiencies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and capacity to adhere to instructions.
  • Team player who listens, learns, and actively communicates.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.

General Requirements:

• • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Physical capability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Dedication to safety, with an unwavering commitment to adhering to safety protocols.
  • Exemplary professionalism, punctuality, and a robust work ethic.
  • Flexibility to operate in diverse environments (including hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.) and adapt to evolving project demands.
  • Assertive, team player and ability to cope with pressure.
  • Travel required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
