Solar and EV Electrical Design Engineer
Background
Green Water and Power is a fast-growing commercial solar PV and electric vehicle charger design and installation company headquartered in Los Angeles with operations throughout CA, AZ, and NYC. We seek an exceptional full-time Design Engineer to assist with PV and EV system design, commissioning, and monitoring. The ideal candidate will be motivated, multi-skilled, and team-oriented with excellent communication skills. This position reports to the Engineering Manager and works closely with construction management and the President. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in renewable project development, construction, and operation while contributing to substantial growth in 2024 and beyond.
Duties and Requirements:
- EV and PV system design; including creating full plan sets using AutoCAD
- Ensuring project compliance with electrical code, utility, and rebate program requirements.
- Monitor EV charger and PV system production, work with equipment manufacturers and site technicians to maintain system performance.
Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience with AutoCAD
- Competency with Electrical Design basics. EV and/or PV experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

- Reports to Van Nuys, Los Angeles office
