About the Position:

Runway Group is looking for an IT Field Technician to serve as the friendly, reliable face of our technology team across our portfolio of properties in Northwest Arkansas -- including hotels, restaurants, office spaces, and residential developments. This is a customer-first role.  You'll spend your days helping people connect to video conferencing systems, troubleshoot basic tech issues, and generally make sure technology doesn't get in the way of someone's workday.  This is a great launchpad for someone early in their career who wants hands-on exposure to hospitality technology, corporate AV systems, and end-user support across a unique and growing portfolio.

The ideal candidate should have weekday availability from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional weekend availability.

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.  This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

Responsibilities:

  • Help guests, tenants, and team members connect to video conferencing and screen-sharing systems -- Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, and others.
  • Provide friendly, patient support for basic Mac and PC issues -- the kind of things that derail someone's morning if they can't figure them out quickly.
  • Organize and maintain internal documentation and resources so the team can work more efficiently.
  • Escalate more complex issues to the Technology Manager with clear context so problems get solved quickly.
  • Move between properties as needed -- you'll be out in the field, not parked behind a desk all day.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for Mac and PC -- enough to solve everyday problems without needing to call in backup.
  • Comfort with video conferencing platforms and AV equipment (or the willingness to learn quickly).
  • A team-player attitude with flexibility -- sometimes the schedule shifts or an event needs weekend support.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between properties in the Bentonville area.
  • Ability to lift and move AV equipment occasionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.

Personal Attributes That Support Your Success:

  • Strong customer service and ability to cross-collaborate across different departments and with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to serve as a trusted advisor to clients, colleagues and consultants and exhibit humility, integrity and exercise sound judgement.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they escalate.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively across multiple departments and adapt to shifting priorities.

Physical Requirements of Position:

  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle, feel, and seize objects with hands frequently throughout the workday.
  • Mobility: Capacity to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach as needed to perform daily office tasks.
  • Lifting & Carrying: Ability to lift and carry items such as supplies or packages; occasionally push or pull objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Extended Periods of Activity: Comfortable performing tasks requiring repetitive movements.
  • Visual & Auditory Requirements: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, as well as sight, to interact with co-workers, vendors, and guests effectively and to perform computer-based tasks.
