As a Sales Manager at Amplify, you’ll play a key role in driving the success of our licensed life insurance agents by providing individualized mentorship, training, and performance coaching. You’ll partner closely with sales leadership to implement strategies that elevate performance, foster continuous learning, and help every Advisor reach their full potential. This role is ideal for a strong sales leader with a passion for coaching, data-driven decision-making, and creating a culture of high performance in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

 


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop a high-performing team: Provide one-on-one coaching, skill development, and motivation to help Advisors exceed individual and team sales goals.

  • Drive performance with data: Monitor key sales metrics, activity levels, and customer interactions to identify coaching opportunities and optimize team results.

  • Enhance product knowledge: Ensure Advisors are confident and knowledgeable in communicating the value of life insurance offerings to customers.

  • Uplevel sales skills: Train and support Advisors in objection handling, closing strategies, and consultative selling techniques.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Sales, Training, and Strategy teams to align on performance goals, priorities, and process improvements.

  • Foster accountability and engagement: Help Advisors stay focused, inspired, and accountable through structured goal-setting, regular feedback, and progress tracking.

  • Contribute to sales strategy: Participate in leadership meetings to share insights, suggest improvements, and support broader team initiatives.

 


 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in a fast-paced inside sales or DTC environment.

  • Life insurance product knowledge and expertise to be able to support agents on needs analysis and case design.

 

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving team success through coaching and mentorship.

 

  • Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle, with expertise in consultative selling, objection handling, and closing techniques.

  • Experience designing and delivering remote training and coaching programs; familiarity with LMS systems is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written — with the ability to convey feedback constructively and motivate others.

  • Strong leadership presence, with the ability to inspire, influence, and foster a high-performance, team-oriented culture.

  • Passion for life insurance, financial wellness, and helping people make informed decisions about their future.
