PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Weekend Service Producer helps fulfill Northview's mission to connect people with God and people with people by producing and executing all Northview weekend service experiences and central events with excellence. This position mainly serves our broadcast campus, but with communication to all campuses. The Producer supports to the Production Department in implementing weekend service experiences and central events. This is full-time, salary, exempt position and reports to the Assistant Production Director. This position is weekend required.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Give Ministry Away
  • Collaborate & work with Creative Department in the planning and implementation of all service elements, from concept to completion
  • Produce Central special events (including Huddles, Leads, Family conferences, etc.)
  • Prepare communication weekly with the campuses, including weekly service host notes and campus email following Saturday services for updates and support
  • Build a full weekend CG bundle (including speaker slides) for all campuses, designing the flow and finalization for the best visual experience
  • Prepare Planning Center Online services for weekends & events at Carmel Campus
  • Create & maintain a service programming master plan and checklists
  • Support communication with the campuses for stage props & set implementation
  • Ensure Speaker's needs are handled with excellence, helping guide them upon arrival at campuses until they leave
  • Prepare/review Speaker’s slides, confirm order and cues
  • Lead Carmel Campus main stage load-in and out for all props & set designs
  • Provide support in the recruiting & training of volunteers to aid in the implementation and execution of the weekend experience plan as well as stage turns at broadcast campus
  • Own the Carmel Campus stage, keeping it clean and tidy - oversee organization & management of the side wings of the stage
  • Own the presentation/clean-up of Greenroom, including ordering food for both Saturday & Sunday services
  • Follow up with all interested in serving in Weekend Services in a timely, professional manner and provide next steps toward their area(s) of interest
  • Step in and run a camera, video direction, basic lighting, basic audio (mic on), put video elements on screens (learn basics within 6 months of onboarding)
  • Report a weekly summary of the weekend experience to the Creative Director

 

ADMINISTRATIVE/MANAGEMENT DUTIES:

  • Prepare for and contribute in all assigned meetings
  • Participate in creative planning and other teams as assigned
  • Show commitment toward cultural values
  • Check email and voicemail and return all phone calls within 24 hours on work days
  • Perform related duties as assigned by manager

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position works with volunteers and must have an understanding that volunteers are key to the ministry of the church. The employee must have a heart to recruit, train, equip and support volunteers in fulfilling their roles.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree and three years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
