PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Global Missions Director oversees the strategy to initiate, build, and support Global Missions centrally and at each of Northview’s campuses, Missionaries, and Partnerships. This position also provides oversight for the Global Missions Coordinators. This position is an Exempt Full-Time Salary position in the Missions Ministry and reports to the Missions Pastor.

Global Missions Direction:
- Has responsibility for executing missions’ strategy for all Global Missions, Partnerships and Missionaries
- Work closely with Missions Pastor to help develop global outreach goals, strategies, and execute church-wide initiatives
- Execute vision and strategy for Global Missions, Missionaries and Partnerships
- Provide Budget oversite for Global Missions and Partners
- Communicate mission objectives and upcoming events and promotion to Global Missions Coordinators
- Work with other departments to bring awareness of mission’s projects and develop serving strategies
- Meet with Global Missions Coordinators individually at least 1 time per month to develop and coach
- Meet with Global Missions Partners on a routine basis
- Carry the vision of Church Leadership to Global Missions
Partnership Relations/Partner Care Duties:
- Maintain relationships with strategic partners through consistent communication as it pertains to Missions strategy
- Attend applicable partner meetings with strategic partner organizations
- Work closely with these partners to help them understand how best to partner with Northview Church as it pertains to the Missions strategy
- Will meet and vet new potential partnerships
Global Missions Teams:
- Plan, Promote and Send Go Teams
- Develop and teach relevant church/missions leadership curriculum
- Work with Global Missions Coordinators and Campus Staff to develop/implement strategy to place teams for ministry partners
Other Administrative Duties:
- Show commitment to Cultural Standards
- Assign administrative projects to Global Missions Coordinators
- Maintain Global Missions Data in church database
- Responsible for coordination of Large Missions events
- Respond to emails and voicemails within 24 hours
- Perform related duties as assigned by Missions Pastor
- Track, Analyze and evaluate metrics
- Work and develop cross departmental relationships
- Assist other departments when needed to move ministry forward
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position directly supervises Global Missions Coordinators. This position will be responsible for training, equipping, developing and evaluating employees on an ongoing basis.

Travel:
This position requires international travel for 3–5 mission trips annually, often to developing countries or regions with specific health and entry requirements.
The employee must be willing and able to receive all vaccinations or preventative treatments required by host countries to participate in mission trips.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and two to three years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related experience includes Event Planning, Volunteer Mobilization, and Project Management.
