As an Associate Account Manager, you will work directly with our Key Account Manager for Walmart. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Walmart account by ensuring customer satisfaction, driving sales, and executing key initiatives. You will act as a liaison between our company and Walmart, building relationships and coordinating efforts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. This is a remote position, but must be located in Bentonville, AR for regular meetings with the Key Account Manager and Walmart.


Role and Responsibilities

·        Serve as a point of contact for Walmart's buying team and act as an advocate for their needs and concerns.

·        Collaborate with internal teams to ensure orders are processed, shipped, and delivered accurately and on time.

·        Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities, and make recommendations to improve performance.

·        Assist in the development of promotional plans and strategies to increase sales and market share.

·        Coordinate with Walmart's marketing team to ensure effective execution of advertising and promotional campaigns.

·        Participate in customer meetings and presentations to represent our company and provide product expertise.

·        Provide regular updates to the Key Account Manager, Director of Sales, and Sales team on account status, sales performance, and market conditions.

·        Manage administrative tasks related to the account, including tracking shipments and invoices, and managing pricing and discounts.

·        Additional duties as assigned.



Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in sales or account management, with Walmart or other major retailers highly welcome.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to large groups.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint 


Reports to: Sr Key Account Manager - Walmart


Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000
