Wavelynx Technologies is a leader in the security industry, specializing in the design and manufacturing of cutting-edge electronics for credentialing and access control. We are seeking a motivated and results driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic and fast changing team. 

 

Position Overview: 

The Inside Sales Representative  will be responsible for qualifying all inbound sales leads into viable opportunities for the regional Business Development (BD) teams.  You will play a crucial role in driving recurring revenue  while managing the relationships with current customers in your assigned territory.  This includes qualifying all incoming leads within a certain time frame to fill the funnel, aligning forecasts and monthly purchase orders, addressing inquiries,  promoting Wavelynx products and services, cross-selling/upselling, placing orders, and resolving issues.  Our sales strategy is a team approach where we surround the customer with business and technical resources to make them successful.  This role is a key in ensuring our customers feel valued and supported.  The ideal candidate has a positive outlook, enjoys engaging with customers to solve their business problems, is a self-starter, and can dive in to fill gaps. An interest in learning about the security industry and Wavelynx products and services will make the successful candidate a great match for this position. High attention to detail, follow-through, and accuracy are required. 

 

This position works Monday through Friday, 100% onsite at our facilities in Broomfield, CO. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Qualification: 

  • Qualify inbound sales leads and convert them into viable opportunities for the BD teams. 

  • Respond to all customer inquiries via telephone or e-mail and maintain detailed records of leads/contacts and customer interactions in the CRM system. 

  • Promote Wavelynx products and services, suggesting new solutions based on customer needs and providing quotes to customers. 

 

Account Relationship Management: 

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for inquiries and feedback from customers and engage appropriate Wavelynx personnel to respond/solve/leverage the communications from the customers. 

  • Proactively connect with customers to upsell projects and bring deals to close in a timely manner to meet revenue goals.

  • Work with your regional BD teams to support customers and execute the team revenue goals monthly. 

  • Ensure all tasks are conducted accurately and in a customer-first manner consistent with corporate policies.

Order and Forecast Management: 

  • Receive and accurately manage the key account customers forecasting and blanket purchase orders (PO) and support order entry in accurately entering them into appropriate systems.  

  • Align customer forecasts with Customers monthly POs to meet their needs and company targets. 

  • Proactively communicate any shipment delays and estimated ship dates to our customers.  

  • Work with your regional business development team on participating in any  annual or quarterly business reviews. 

Continuous Learning and Development: 

  • Learn about Wavelynx products and services to accurately articulate the value proposition. 

  • Stay updated on industry trends and new product features to better serve our customers. 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business preferred or equivalent work experience. 

  • Minimum of 2 years of account management in a B2B selling environment, preferably in security or access control industries. 

  • At least one year of experience with a CRM system is required.

  • Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite is required.  

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required. 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers. 

  • Ability to self-start and dive into new projects or fill gaps where seen in the business.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize various tasks/projects and work independently as well as collaboratively.

  • Ability to maintain positive customer interactions throughout the customer experience. 

  • Ability to understand unique product features and functionality and understand high-level technical customer requirements needed. 

 

Salary and Benefits

  • The salary range for this position is offered at $55,000-$60,000 base salary per year, depending on experience. This position is eligible for additional compensation through our sales incentive program and is bonus eligible.
