Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Strategic Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in cultivating long-term relationships with our key customers and driving revenue growth through our distribution channel with regional-based activities that you can push out to our sales team. You will collaborate closely the Sales Organization. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Build and sustain strong, trusting relationships with key contacts within our OEM/PACS customers and distributors. 

  • Analyzing the POS reports from our distribution partners to negotiate inventory in certain regional branches where we are not. 

  • Creating reports out of our ERP and CRM systems to present every month to the sales organization on how each partner is doing YOY. 

  • Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring client needs and expectations are met. 

  • Coordinating monthly calls with regional distribution branches 

  • Serve as the key point of contact with communication links between clients, and internal teams(I.e. Engineering, production, logistics, sales) that will create long-term consistency with our partners. 

 

Account Planning and Growth: 

  • Understand the specific needs and requirements of both our OEM and distribution customers. 

  • Develop and manage a strategic 12-month forecasting plan with our OEM customers to ensure accurate forecasting and activity data.  

  • For the Distribution focus, mapping out the high volume branches within our CRM system and then the top 10 integrators within those same territories that buy from distribution. 

  • Having a solid understanding and creating reporting from our CRM & ERP systems to show the % of partners that are buying from our distribution partners vs our OEM/PACS partners. 

  • Collaborating with the BD owners of the OEM/PACS and DIstribution accounts to take their strategic plans for the accounts and drive the campaigns in collaboration with marketing through the sales organization in order to create repeatable business through our partners.

  • Identify new product opportunities while managing existing product lines and add new products where applicable. 

  • When new products are launched, being the 1st point of contact to present to our customers and walk them through the process and timelines, and communicate back to internal teams our customers' timelines for testing and launch.

  • Coordinate with our finance and Executive teams to align on the accounts' corporate growth targets and strategize on how to achieve sales, margin, and profit goals for assigned accounts.

  • Be involved with our Legal and Executive leadership teams for contract negotiation points, pricing, and terms. 

  • Maintain monthly strategy calls with each account and prepare regular reports on account status, including sales forecasts and project updates. Also, lead the annual price review conversation. 

  • Communicate monthly/quarterly with the Director of Inside Sales on activities, forecasting, opportunities for added products, and any change in forecasts up or down. 

  • Be the main point of contact as new Key accounts are brought on board and onboard them into the Wavelynx process, collaborating with sales, engineering, purchasing, and operations to provide excellent customer service. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field preferred.

  • 5 + years in sales, customer service, or account management required.

  • Proven experience in successfully managing key accounts, collaborating with business development professionals, colleagues, and many departments. 

  • Has experience working in distribution models. 

  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite and HubSpot CRM.

 

Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000 annually
