We seek a highly vigilant and skilled IT Security Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices and will be responsible for protecting our company's valuable data and systems from threats.

This is a 100% in office position at our HQ- 100 Technology Dr. Broomfield, CO 80021

Responsibilities:

  • Security Monitoring:

    • Proactively monitor network traffic for suspicious activity.

    • Analyze security logs and identify potential vulnerabilities.

    • Respond to security incidents and take appropriate action.

  • Security Systems Management:

    • Install, configure, and maintain security software and hardware, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.

    • Manage and audit onsite access control, alarm, and surveillance systems

    • Manage and audit user accounts and permissions.

    • Implement and maintain security policies and procedures.

  • Vulnerability Management:

    • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.

    • Identify and mitigate security risks.

    • Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.

    • Manage third party penetration testing service

  • Incident Response:

    • Develop and implement incident response plans.

    • Investigate security breaches and data leaks.

    • Take corrective action to prevent future incidents.

  • User Education and Support:

    • Manage security awareness training for employees.

    • Develop and distribute security policies and guidelines.

    • Provide occasional Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a cybersecurity role.

  • 3+ years of experience in IT security administration.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

  • Experience with security software and hardware, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.

  • Experience managing and optimizing cloud platform security such as Azure, AWS or GCP.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Requires the physical ability to lift and carry computer equipment (up to 50 lbs), perform detailed work with hands, and work in various positions and locations.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience implementing or aiding the implementation of IT compliance standards such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2.

  • Experience onboarding and working with a managed SOC/SIEM provider.

 

Salary and Benefits

  • The salary range for this position is offered at $80,000-$100,000 base per year, depending on experience
