Wavelynx Technologies is a leader in the security industry, specializing in the design and manufacturing of cutting-edge electronics for credentialing and access control. We seek a Business Development - Strategic Accounts team member to grow the adoption of Wavelynx access control portfolio within their assigned market segment. There are several opportunities open.
This position is responsible for enacting business development strategies, maintaining relationships within their assigned segment, working collaboratively inside and outside the sales organization to drive win-win solutions for clients and the company. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable and passionate about access control and is highly customer-focused and efficient.
The ideal candidate will work extremely well with other sales professionals and develop deep and meaningful relationships with clients and convert these relationships to long-term partnerships.
Up to 50% travel is required for this position. We are primarily focused on candidates in the FL, WA or OR area.
Duties and Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute sales strategies and lead the business development function for the role’s target segment.

Work with marketing to develop sales presentations, displays, and materials, and ensure sales messaging is appropriately communicated through marketing strategies.

Become an expert in Wavelynx’s products and services to educate the market on solutions and articulate the Wavelynx value proposition.

Work with customers to tailor a solution for them using Wavelynx products. The goal is to provide the most seamless transition plan for end users from their current physical access control infrastructure to a state-of-the-art solution from Wavelynx and its ecosystem partners.

Review and analyze sales and operational records and reports; use data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential clients.

Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.

Consult with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and suggest equipment, products, or services to meet them.

Acts as company representative at conferences, trade shows, and other public meetings.
Skills and Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, or a related field, or a comparable record of sales leadership experience is required.

At least 5 years of sales experience is required, with experience in access control industry.

Previous experience in enterprise sales is preferred.

Must have a proven track record of securing and maintaining a portfolio of clients.

Proven ability to deliver $2+ million revenue targets.

World-class verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is offered at $80,000-150,000 base per year, depending on experience, plus a sales incentive program.
