Job Summary
The individual in this role oversees the maintenance and repairing of equipment and facilities within our retail store and wholesale production floor, ensuring safe operation.
This can be either a full time or part time position depending on the need.
Responsibilities
- Regularly inspect and monitor company equipment, buildings, and property including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building structure, ensuring a safe and clean working environment
- Develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and upgrades, ensuring all maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely, cost-effective manner according to all specifications
- Respond to maintenance requests and concerns, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs or adjustments
- Implement and follow preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Ensure all fire and safety inspections are completed and any discrepancies are corrected
- Ensure property is in compliance with all safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and regulations including OSHA, HACCP, and USDA guidelines
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications
- 3 or more years of related experience working with mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing and refrigeration systems
- Understanding of food safety practices including HACCP and USDA highly preferred
- Ability to work on call, including weekends when necessary
- Ability to lift heavy objects
Skills
- Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing, and refrigeration systems
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems related to equipment and facility issues
- Detail oriented with meticulous approach to inspections, repairs, and documentation
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and external vendors
