Boutique real estate law firm and title company, located in downtown Orlando, is seeking a hardworking and experienced legal assistant for our fast-paced Orlando office. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and team player who is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Order payoffs, estoppel letters, surveys and any other requirements to clear title
Coordinate time and place of closings
Communicate with all parties including realtors, lending institutions, buyers, sellers, surveyors, etc. and keep all parties updated
Gather pertinent file information and make follow-up calls to buyers, sellers and their agents as necessary
Prepare Settlement Statements and CDs
Conduct closings
Complete various administrative duties as necessary
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of prior legal assistant or title experience required
Professional attitude and appearance
Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner
Able to multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure while remaining detail-oriented and organized
Solid written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
Computer proficient especially with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience using closing software such as Doubletime, Closer’s Choice, or Qualia
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Certificates, licenses, registrations: Licensed by Florida Department of Insurance is preferred but not required, CLC (certified land closer) designation through FLTA a plus, CLA (certified legal assistant) designation a plus.
This is a hybrid work from home and the workplace position.
Office hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
