POSITION SUMMARY

We’re looking for a full-time Jr. Copywriter to work remotely on Pacific Time with the LA-based team. You'll be helping a fantastic team that manages campaigns for many Motion Picture Studios, TV Networks, and Streaming Services.

This candidate is a creative thinker who is passionate about storytelling. As a master of words, this person is versatile in crafting compelling and relevant copy that engages audiences across multiple platforms. An ideal candidate is excited to learn and able to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced social environment.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

●      Work closely with the team to ideate innovative and bold copy to support our campaigns both strategically and creatively.

●      Write for any medium and audience, whether it’s social copy, scripts, or long-form content.

●      Write in multiple and ensure the tone is consistent with the clients’ brand.

●      Able to contribute brainstorming sessions with a knowledge of current trends.

●      Resilient in workshopping and rewriting content when multiple edits are required.

●      Cross-reference and ensure the messaging aligns with the visual creative on projects.

●      Transfer creative direction and adapt points from briefs into persuasive copy concepts.

●      Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cultural and industry trends.

●      Edit and proofread copy as part of creative review responsibilities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or higher in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.

·       Deep knowledge of the mechanics of writing: punctuation, spelling, structure, and organization of writing.

·       Background in Marketing is a plus, Entertainment is ideal.

·       Digital and social experience required.

●      Excellent organizational/project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects concurrently.

●      Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing, and deadline-driven environment.

●      A team player with excellent time management skills, delivers high-quality work, and remains focus under pressure.

●      Self-starter who can think boldly and strategically.

●      Manage and work independently.

●      Excitement to learn.

●      Proficiency in GSuite is expected.
