OVERALL PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE:
Works under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Strategic Impact & Community Engagement to support the day-to-day research operations of a broad-based analysis of current mental and behavioral health services in Orange County, Florida. Responsibilities include managing research project staff activities and creating and coordinating research procedures.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Develop and manage a detailed project work plan that adheres to the project timeline.
· Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the project.
· Provide input and recommendations to make decisions about research and analysis procedures.
· Coordinate and collaborate with Heart of Florida United Way and the project consultant.
· Draft progress reports and other materials that describe project milestones and results.
· Ensure submission of all progress reports and invoices for payment by the established deadlines.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or a related field. Masters’ degree preferred.
· Experience in the mental health, public health and/or behavioral health field is preferred.
· Experience with in-person and virtual meeting planning and coordination required.
· High level proficiency in Microsoft Office—MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
· Results-oriented with a high attention to detail.
· Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in virtual meeting/collaboration (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, GoToWebinar) preferred.
· Must have reliable transportation. Ability to travel up to 30% required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physical demands include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, bending, occasional lifting of items weighing up to approximately 25 pounds, regularly moving throughout the building between floors, traveling to outside meetings, regular use of standard office equipment such as the telephone, copier, fax and computer. Demands also involve protracted concentration. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required as this position will travel throughout the Central Florida area. Job involves frequent and routinely intense public contact.
