Overall Purpose of this Role: Responsible for supporting OUC Project CARE by completing various administrative and computer-system tasks.

Key Accountabilities:

·        Access various databases to review customer and account information.

·        Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information.

·        Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies.

·        Access, input, and retrieve information from the MAACLink client management system.

·        Communicate with clients via text/email to collect /verify account information.

·        Use Google texting platform to notify clients about the status of their application.

·        Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.

·        Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

·        Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.

·        Work requires good reading, writing and proofreading skills.  Must be able to edit, complete and assemble reports.

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other relational databases required.

·        Experience working with spreadsheets and databases required.

·        Demonstrated ability to learn new and/or customized software.

·        Case management and/or prior experience with social services preferred.

·        Prior nonprofit experience preferred.

·        Must be able to prioritize heavy workload in fast-paced environment.

·        Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

·        Ability to clearly communicate orally and in writing.

·        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

·        Ability to compute basic mathematical functions.

·         Ability to employ critical thinking and problem solving skills.

·        Ability to employ organizational skills effectively.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Physical demands include sitting for extended periods of time, possible bending and lifting approximately 25 pounds; regularly using the telephone and standard office equipment such as computers, copiers and fax machine, regularly moving between floors.  Reliable transportation required.  Job involves frequent and routinely intense public contact and protracted concentration.
