About the role:  

We are looking for an experienced Manager, Offline Performance Marketing to join our Performance Marketing team. This role will be pivotal in driving new customer acquisition through offline channels and will define the strategy, manage, and scale efficiently customer acquisition through offline paid marketing channels. You will report to the Director of Performance Marketing and work alongside a collaborative team.

 

What you’ll do:

Channel Management

  • Define the strategy, manage, and efficiently scale new customer acquisition through offline paid marketing channels, including but not limited to, podcasts, direct mail, radio, catalog, TV

  • Effectively manage all offline budgets and performance ensuring that we are achieving channel-specific and top-line goals

  • Own all aspects of day-to-day offline marketing channel management: audience targeting, creative development, media buying, optimization, and CAC measurement

  • Collaborate with the creative, product marketing, and copywriting teams to develop content for offline channels to ensure key product features are communicated interestingly and engagingly

  • Drive continuous improvement by turning insights into testable hypotheses, running experiments, mining data for optimization opportunities, and negotiating attractive media rates and deals

  • Be agile and flexible in pivoting when needed to align on business priorities

  • Embed “Test, Learn & Optimize” into all activity - ensuring we are always building on our knowledge and driving performance with all growth marketing campaigns and leveraging A/B tests and experiments to constantly improve our efforts

  • Develop alignment between Growth, CRM, and Site to ensure consistent user experience and cohesive brand messaging across creative

  • Stay on top of industry trends, competitive analysis, and present information about new tools and opportunities, and produce recommendations to advance our practices

 

Data Analysis

  • Aid in new channel testing by tracking KPIs, measuring success,  helping to evaluate our current marketing mix

  • Ensure that we are properly tracking the impact of each new offline channel test and that we are understanding traffic, conversion, and revenue impacts

  • Conduct in-depth analyses, draw actionable insights, and distill key takeaways while looking to understand how our breadth of data helps us make actionable decisions

  • Constantly looking for and proposing new opportunities to expand our marketing mix – always asking, “Where is our customer and how do we attract them?”

 

What you’ll bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in similar roles with 

  • Solid understanding of growth marketing with a fast-growing brand;  DTC retail preferred but not required

  • Deep knowledge of growth marketing best practices and KPI tracking.  

  • Experience in a wide breadth of offline growth channels such as direct mail, podcasts, TV, etc.

  • Strong attention to detail, high level of organization, and interest in developing process

  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • A passion for creating engaging and exciting growth campaigns

  • Confidence in challenging the status quo and backing up questions with data

  • Ability to adapt to changes in priorities and work well under pressure

  • Advanced Excel & data analysis skills
