About the Role

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing team. As the Social Media Coordinator, you will report to the Brand Marketing Manager and collaborate with internal and external teams and partners to create compelling content for various social media platforms to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase traffic and sales. This role involves content creation, editing, and active engagement on social media channels. You will oversee content ideas and implementation that support brand storytelling, product campaigns & releases, Ambassadors & Influencers partnerships, Retail, Partnerships, Events and more. The ideal candidate should be passionate about social media trends, possess strong communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail.

 

What you’ll do:

  • In partnership with the Brand Marketing Manager, execute on the social media strategy for Rhone’s organic social media platforms. 

  • Maintain and grow new and existing social audiences, with a priority focus on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, with an understanding of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube.

  • Work closely with internal teams to develop and curate compelling content for social media platforms, including written, video, and photo content to then publish via DashHudson

  • Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, messaging, and marketing objectives.

  • Attend events to capture live content for social media platforms.

  • Support our Content Marketing Team on the production of live social media content, including behind-the-scenes coverage, interviews, and event highlights.

  • Assist our Content Marketing Team in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content to meet quality standards and brand guidelines.

  • Collaborate with the Senior Copywriter to maintain a unified brand voice across all social media channels.

  • Monitor and ensure consistent messaging and branding elements on different platforms.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as Marketing, Product & Design, Creative, Content, and Copy to gather necessary information and assets for social media content creation.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance social media reach and engagement.

  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics.

  • Research new media platforms, trends, and industry opportunities

  • Monitor competitor activity and responding to any activity that could harm the brand’s reputation or cause confusion among customers

  • Provide regular reports to the Brand Marketing Manager, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years of direct experience managing social media accounts

  • A keen knowledge of cutting edge and emerging digital and social trends

  • A strong understanding of social media platforms and how to uniquely market across each of them with custom strategies and content plays

  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to adapt to changes in priorities and work well under pressure

  • Ability to work independently yet collaboratively
