About the role:

As the Group Sales Account Executive, you will oversee Rhone’s high growth Group and Corporate Sales channel.  You will be responsible for soliciting new business as well as managing existing partnerships such as investment management and major league sports associations.  You will creatively improve brand awareness, and build relationships with customers while generating sales.  The ideal candidate is passionate about sales and customer service and has a proven track record of success in, the high-growth apparel space.


What you’ll do:

  • Actively pursue new business and identify opportunities to acquire new accounts through cold calling, attending trade shows and events, networking/referrals, and other forms of outreach

  • Establishes and maintains trust and rapport with customers through appropriate coordination of new and existing accounts to ensure repeat business

  • In partnership with the Director of Sales and Chief Growth Officer, develop and maintain business plans for the corporate channel

  • Prepare presentations and pitch materials for prospective customers

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets by managing the full sales cycle

  • Prepare and present business results to channel lead

  • Work closely with Finance/Operations teams to ensure all accounts are set up thoroughly and in good standing with all accounting guidelines being followed

  • Partner with the channel lead and merchandising team to identify opportunities in product lines and categories to maximize market opportunities

  • Partner with planning team to ensure inventory availability (right product, right time) supports sales goals

  • Be a product knowledge expert with the ability to educate new and existing customers on best-selling styles, pricing, and branded apparel

  • Manage the co-branding process (quotes, mockups, approvals) by acting as the liaison between the client and third-party printing partners

  • Maintain and update all knowledge of industry trends

  • Manage expense budget for area of responsibility

  • Travel to trade shows and related events as needed

  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+  years of account management and group sales experience

  • Existing relationships with corporate clients, country clubs, universities, ASI distributors etc.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the Google Suite of products

  • Experience with NetSuite and NuOrder (or similar) - preferred

  • The ability to self-motivate and operate semi-autonomously but always collaboratively

  • The ability to handle multiple projects and adhere to deadlines

  • An enthusiastic and passionate work ethic; 

  • A team player mindset with the willingness to take on additional assignments as needed 

  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills with impeccable attention to detail

  • Willingness to work nights and weekends and travel as needed
