About the role:  Production Assistant

The Production Assistant will utilize their exceptional organizational skills to assist in the daily operations of the product/production team. The candidate must be collaborative, communicate effectively, and have strong organizational skills that will thrive in a fast-paced environment.  This position desires 1-2 years of Apparel production experience and will report to the Production Manager.

What you’ll do:

  • Issue and maintain all purchase orders

  • Maintain all charts/reports related to the production process

  • Monitor and maintain production WIPS

  • Tracking, reviewing, and approving TOP samples and other bulk related samples and submits.

  • Work closely with the vendors  to ensure all product is held to the company's quality expectation standards and to meet shipping deadlines

  • Elevate and communicate potential delays and issues as appropriate

  • Organization of lab dips, bulk submits and all other submits.

  • Review and approve bulk dye lots 

  • Organize and maintain approval folders

  • Receive, distribute and send packages as needed

  • Assist Production manager in other tasks as required

What you’ll bring: 

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar apparel production role desired 

  • Must be experienced in Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel (including vlookups etc)

  • Expertise with Data Entry

  • Proficient in working, maintaining, and updating information in an ERP system

  • Understanding of production timelines

  • Ability to problem-solve and proactively foresee issues

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Able to multitask and shift priorities efficiently and effectively

  • Process Oriented

  • Can adapt to a small company work culture and the fast-paced environment
