About the role:
The Product Knowledge (PK) Specialist, you will support the Company's effort to deliver a best in class in-store experience. They will support the retail stores by ensuring its team members are well versed in product knowledge (both core and seasonal) as well as wardrobing and building outfits. The PK Specialist will work closely with the Merchandising team to produce and distribute materials to the store team.
What you’ll do:
Be the expert in, and continuously educate on, Rhone’s product knowledge
Educate store in GAME selling ceremony using product knowledge to increase sales, upt’s, and other relevant kpi’s
In partnership with the Merchandising team, create Product Knowledge packets for Retail stores
Provide information and training for upcoming product launches
Maintain effective relationships with store managers and sales associates by using professional communication and efficient processes
Travel to stores and sell alongside current teams supporting both new and seasoned associates
In partnership with the Director of Retail, conduct regular assessments to identify skill or knowledge gaps throughout the teams
Work with Store Managers to create a continuous and engaging learning environment implementing best practices tailored to each team’s needs
Support new store openings (NSO) by coordinating training sessions ahead of the new store open date and being on the ground to support operationally with each NSO
Support the onboarding of new HQ employees by offering product knowledge sessions during in store visits
What you’ll bring:
2+ years of experience in Retail leadership, preferably in a training capacity
You are a self-starter capable of operating semi-autonomously but always collaboratively
You are enthusiastic and passionate
You are a team player who is not afraid to take on additional assignments that appear above or beneath you
You have strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills and can effectively communicate remotely
You can prioritize and manage time effectively, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities
You are proficient with Microsoft Office and the Google Suite of products
You have impeccable attention to detail
You can work nights and weekends as needed and have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time
