About the role:
The CRM Associate will support the Director of CRM on the full customer journey and act as a liaison between the customer and our CRM platforms. They will impact the strategy and help maximize results. The ideal candidate is passionate about data as well as the customer experience.
What you’ll do:
Coordinate our automation and loyalty communication strategy, with the goal of building customer engagement, driving improved retention rates & heightened lifetime value of our customers.
Partner with CRM Director and Data Analyst to identify opportunities within our business for segment-specific and product-specific automated campaigns.
Work in partnership with our Brand and Design teams to develop content and communication for automation campaigns.
Embed “Test, Learn & Optimize” into all activity - ensuring we are always building on our knowledge and driving performance with all campaigns.
Coordinate multi-step, multi-channel touch points with our automated journeys.
Support the development of our loyalty program, built off the back of detailed customer analysis, assist in regular measurement of performance to drive optimizations.
Contribute to improvements in repeat purchase rates and customer LTV.
Develop an in-depth knowledge of our current technology & customer data flows, to be able to discover opportunities to optimize flows, to troubleshoot and solve difficult, sometimes technical problems, as well as to find efficiencies where possible. Work with our ESP / CDP and technical teams to achieve this.
Assist in building segmentation and workflow logic for automation campaigns within our ESP/CDP.
Source & integrate the data needed to create highly personalized communications and on boarding the other teams required to bring these to life.
Be the expert in our Customer Engagement Platform. Ensure the technology is being used to its full capabilities and that we are continuously innovating our CRM strategies.
Analysis & Insight
Work collaboratively with our Data Analyst to uncover insights in order to better understand our customer base’s purchase patterns, product affinities, and category cross-selling opportunities.
Take part in the reporting and analysis of automated programs and overall customer performance.
Leverage the above insights to inform decision making, testing, and subsequent strategy optimizations within existing automations.
Assist in the development of roadmaps for new automations journeys, and management of both their strategic direction and performance impact.
What you’ll bring:
2+ years of experience in similar CRM roles and in-depth knowledge of CRM customer planning with a large customer base, preferably in retail.
Advanced excel & data analysis skills.
A passion for bringing data to life by developing personalized and data-informed strategies to help scale the business.
Interest in thoughtful and targeted marketing communications as relevant to customers as possible, personalizing content thoughtfully by utilizing customer data.
Experience working in a cross-functional environment, with excellent organization and communication skills.
Confidence challenging the status quo and backing up questions with data.
Advanced experience using email service providers, customer data platforms, and database management platforms.
