About the Role:

The Director of Enterprise Application Systems role is responsible for strategic and operational leadership of Rhone’s enterprise application systems, including design, development, implementation, support, and maintenance. The position engages with stakeholders to understand their needs and align their use of their applications within the capacity and integrity of the technology infrastructure. Responsible for improving quality by focusing on preventative measures through automation to eliminate product reliability issues and collaborating with our Product Owners to deliver high quality and high availability.

What you’ll do:

Application & Technology Management

  • Analyze Product and Applications scope, identify opportunities, facilitate changes (add/change/deactivate).

  • Works closely with key stakeholders to optimize and prioritize the capabilities of the application suite with business requirements

  • Present status reporting to key stakeholders. Report on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, test and development management activities, ensuring accurate and reliable communication, including performance issues, to internal stakeholders

  • Ensure that an agreed level of service is provided for all current services, and that future services are delivered to agreed achievable targets.

  • Review generated forecast, pricing, and billing with partners/customers.

Incident Management

  • Overall responsibility for Incident Management for ERP Business Services.

  • Collaborate with other technology service teams to ensure incidents are efficiently investigated end-to-end with minimal hand-offs between teams.

  • Monitor progress on the resolution of known errors and advise incident management staff on the best available workaround for incidents.

  • Manage & provide guidance in analyzing problems for identifying the root cause, prioritization, and classification.

  • Own communication to business on problem management progress.


Knowledge Management

  • Promotes Knowledge Management best practices and champions improvement initiatives. Attend and actively contribute to the Steering Committee.

  • Contribution and continued maintenance of KAs to repositories & coaching resources within the organization.

  • Responsible for Knowledge Lifecycle (IT Knowledge Strategy, IT Knowledge Capture, IT Knowledge Structuring and Retention, IT Knowledge Access and Sharing). 


What We Look For:

  • Bachelors in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or business specific field

  • Experience with a cloud-based ERP deployment and project methodologies

  • Strong business acumen, with experience driving significant organizational, process and systems improvements in a Master Data Management environment

  • Creative and analytical skills in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence. Be proactive, forward thinking and analytical

  • Maintain a high level of organization, commitment to follow through, enthusiasm and motivation

  • Ability to think strategically and broadly about the business while also fully understanding the details, workflows, systems, and near-term issues

  • Ability to build alignment cross-functionally and influence up to senior leadership

  • Previous experience in leading small planning teams, with proven record of people development and earned followership within a high change environment

  • Excellent writing, organizational, time-management and planning skills

  • Netsuite experience preferred

  • Consumer Good experience - apparel preferred
