Job Description: Manager, FP&A
We are looking for a strong Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis who will work closely with the CFO, Sr. Dir of FP&A, and functional partners to develop strategic financial goals for the company. This position will work with senior leadership to devise strategies to increase profits, reduce costs, and optimize cash flow. The perfect candidate will exemplify our company values and principles.
What you’ll do:
Develop annual operating budget, operating plan, financial goals, and working capital plan
Build out a Finance team of your own direct reports 1-3
Oversee day to day working capital management
Report and own weekly dashboarding of company KPIs, Sales, and Margin
Business planning in line with forecasted sales and costs including guidance to channel leads
Monthly review of the financial statement in order to correct problems, assure spending is in line and to plan for future business
Report to management and other stakeholders providing advice on how the company and future business decisions might be impacted
Produce financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
Develop strategies that work to minimize financial risk
Implement internal control procedures that safeguard leaders, owners, and assets and complies with Federal, State and Local regulations
Analyze market trends and competitors and predict future financial trends
Hire and oversee leaders in the finance department, including giving directions and delivering performance evaluations
What you’ll bring:
You have 6 years of professional experience in accounting, financial analysis, and/or other analytic field
Excellent financial modeling, excel, and PowerPoint skills
Apparel experience or other DTC experience a plus
You have proven ability to build relationships and lead and develop teams
You have superb verbal and written communication skills
You possess strong project management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and independently
You have a keen eye for detail and a desire to probe further into data
You have an entrepreneurial attitude, and you love working on fast-paced, dynamic teams
You are adept at synthesizing business performance into key highlights, root cause analysis and action plans
Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in the area of Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other Mathematical fields
Post Graduate degree in Financial Management a plus
