About the role:

We are seeking an eCommerce Associate that will contribute to Rhone’s growth by managing the day-to-day execution of site merchandising and story-telling, driving a premium customer experience, and optimizing product performance to meet topline revenue goals. This role will be critical to the channel’s performance and we’re looking for a great team player, as this role will be interacting with almost every team at Rhone. 


This candidate should be data-driven, detail-oriented, and understand the value of a well-structured online merchandising strategy, with attention to detail and the ability to iterate quickly. 


What you’ll do: 

  • Strategically merchandise using data, search terms, inventory position, emails, marketing, and knowledge of product of assortment

  • Compiling accurate daily, weekly, and seasonal reports on trading performance including product categories and ranges, and helping to identify trends and opportunities

  • Highlighting sales and conversion trends against forecast and previous performance

  • Partner with Production, Technical Design, Merchandising and Creative/ Marketing to ensure all product content and sizing information is accurate and completed as needed

  • Coordinate with Creative on asset planning, creation and hand-off of all necessary imagery prior to launch of products & various campaigns 

  • Own all imports and confirm product data & inputs are correct for launching or editing product in Shopify 

  • Ensure pricing is accurate and promotional pricing is coordinated with internal teams for monthly markdowns, sitewide promos, etc.

  • Own all content refreshes onsite for homepage, collections, etc. in Contentful (Content Management System) 

  • Visually position key marketing stories and merchandise core funnel to align with seasonal campaigns 

  • Manage the product launch process and calendar, working with cross-functional partners to launch new product on time

  • Collaborate with ecomm stakeholders in optimizing site merchandising and search optimizations, navigation, and landing page experiences to drive product discoverability and conversion

  • Troubleshoot product or customer issues that arise on-site as needed e.g. update copy, tags, navigation, etc.

  • Proactively look for ways to improve sell-thru, conversion, etc.

What you’ll bring: 

  • 1 - 2 years experience in Apparel Online Merchandising or E-commerce Operations

  • Proficient in Excel and G Suite

  • Experience with Shopify

  • Experience with Contentful or CMS is preferred

  • Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics

  • Approaching daily responsibilities with a proactive and solution driven mindset

  • Extreme attention to detail

  • Maintain highly organized time management skills in a fast-paced environment prone to change

  • Ability to work effectively and creatively independently as well as in a team environment

  • A positive attitude and team player

Location:  Preference is Greater NYC, Open to remote locations based on experience
