Job Description: Social Content Manager
We are seeking a social media manager to grow our company's social profile and deepen engagement with customers. As a social media manager, your entire focus will be to create a platform across the various social media outlets in order to build brand recognition, start meaningful conversations and increase followers.
Content spans across Rhone product releases, Ambassadors, Influencers, Events, The Pursuit (our online journal) and more. You will create a strategy to publish content and create consistency across the platforms that is in line with the larger creative vision for the brand. You will also be responsible for measuring all engagement and following on social platforms and foster relationships with influencers and customer evangelists, all to further brand goals.
This individual must be willing to work outside of “typical” work hours (weekends, very early to accommodate ET timing, late to accomodate midnight releases, holidays, etc…). Previous experience managing premium brand social platforms preferred.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Director of Brand Marketing to develop and implement social media brand strategies, campaigns, and plans to build brand awareness
Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency
Maintain and grow new and existing social audiences, including Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and others (Tik Tok, Clubhouse, Etc.)
Manage and grow influencer relationships for broader reach and deeper engagement
Manage and grow customer evangelist relationships
Ability to see real-time content trends and react accordingly, with appropriate buy-in and sign off from team
Incorporate optimization strategies, analyze data, and research best ways to increase traffic
Review success of campaigns with analytics and develop ways to optimize
Work with the Director of Brand Marketing to conceptualize, create and implement engaging written and visual content on behalf of our online journal, The Pursuit.
Research new media platforms, trends, and industry opportunities
Write effective, concise copy for multiple platforms, websites, and social networks
Engage with social community, encourage brand loyalty through authentic interactions with consumers/followers
Work with Creative Marketing Manager to plan and create Rhone social media specific content (separate from on-model and lifestyle imagery) specific to annual micro & macro holidays as well as dedicated specialty months and tribute days.
About You:
A passion for social media marketing and community building
1-2 years of direct experience with social media management
Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing/communications or similar
A natural curiosity and creative mindset
Experience with Adobe Suite
Experience using Excel and understanding numbers/patterns/trends in regards to social media analytics
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proactive and resourceful with a 'can-do' attitude
Proactive and a self starter
Sense of humor, collaborative spirit and a drive to do more
Excellent analytical and time-management skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
