Strive Health is a next generation kidney care service provider that, in partnership with health systems and payors, drives revolutionary clinical outcomes for patients with CKD and End Stage Renal Disease patients. 

 

Founded in 2018, Strive Health is creating a new standard of kidney care to cut inpatient utilization, increase the adoption of home dialysis, and significantly improve patient outcomes and experience. Leveraging comparative and predictive data and analytics to identify patients at risk, Strive Health is partnering with leading health systems and payers nationwide to reinvent how primary care physicians and nephrologists identify and treat CKD patients before they have an unplanned dialysis start. 

 

Why become a General Manager with Strive Health?

Reporting to the SVP of Market Operations, the General Manager will be responsible for the in-market growth, operational execution, clinical and quality outcomes, and financial success of Strive’s Market operations and performance. The General Manager will oversee business operations, clinical operations , operational excellence, network development, provider partnerships, key stakeholder engagement and patient engagement and satisfaction. 

This individual is an important leader within Strive’s growing team.  In particular, s/he will be the market operations and growth leader and serve as a face and leader for Strive on the ground. He or she will develop high quality professional relationships, both inside and outside of our operating partners, and lead execution of multi-million-dollar annual revenue contracts. As the market leader, s/he will engage heavily with Strive’s operating partners and other collaborative organizations in the market, such as risk-bearing providers, payors and nephrology groups. This individual is an operator who brings experience in overseeing operating costs, managing key stakeholder relationships, opening clinics, and building teams. 

 

Role Responsibilities:

    Execute on contract terms and Strive’s operating model, helping build the blueprint for market launch and setting key KPIs to hit topline revenue goals while managing costs, engaging key stakeholders, and scaling at-risk lives 

    Represent Strive externally with local health systems, provider groups, health plan partners and nephrology groups; act as a local business development leader, targeting and developing new strategic collaborations, driving stakeholder and patient engagement, and leading local implementation

    Work with the market medical lead to set utilization goals, operational and quality metrics, and business needs to drive high value performance and an efficient, lean operating model

    Provide leadership and P&L management over the market, collaborating with local clinical and operational leaders to design, implement, and manage business operations 

    Hire, train, manage, and develop in-market operations leaders (business operations, clinic operations, network, and more) while promoting a metrics-driven culture 

    Direct the day-to-day dialysis clinical operations, interacting with key stakeholders for physician engagement, performance management, and practice management 

 

Role Qualifications:

    Exposure to value-based models of care delivery; demonstrates a strong knowledge of the national payer and risk-bearing provider landscape

    Experience developing relationships with key stakeholders in a health system, provider organization and with large Payors.

    Has taken a company into a new market successfully and/or established operational processes to meet the demands of growth

    Demonstrates a metrics-driven approach and is able to establish and utilize KPIs to improve performance and streamline patient throughput and care delivery processes, with an eye towards exceptional implementation and delivery

    Can easily articulate key levers that influence cost center performance, adverse event performance, and drive strategic partnerships around engagement

    Experience managing a P&L within a healthcare delivery setting, ideally in a value-based environment
