Staff Accountant

Strive Health’s interventions significantly reduce the rate of emergent dialysis crash, cut inpatient utilization, and significantly improve patient outcomes and experience. 

 

Responsibilities:

·       Analyze corporate financial operations to ensure business efficiency

• Prepare journal entries related to recording asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries such as actual and accrued payroll, benefit allocations, transactions, prepaids and accruals
• Maintain general ledger by preparing a trial balance and reconciling entries.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closes
• Prepare financial statements
• Coordinate with Audit and Tax firm along with management to answer any questions or resolve any issues
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

·       2-3 years’ experience in a corporate accounting role (healthcare industry preferred)

·       Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office products

·       Strong understanding of GAAP Accounting

·       Experience in Expensify, QuickBooks, NetSuite, (if we want to switch to that) or other ERP system

·       Adaptable, Collaborative, Agile

·       Ability to execute with limited supervision

·       Accounts Payable, Payroll, GL accounting, or internal audit experience
