Job Description
As a Rizse embedded software engineer, your job will be to develop cutting edge technologies and explore new areas for our technology platforms to expand. You will work alongside a team of amazing developers, researchers, and engineers who are developing artificial intelligence systems, onboard navigation, security, distributed computing methods mobile design, and the list continues as, in a start-up, there will always be new challenges that arise. We're not just looking for tech talent, but leadership ability, excitement in a new field of work, and versatility.



Minimum qualifications:
  • BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
  • Software development experience in C, C++, Go, or a comparable high-performance programming language with explicit pointer semantics.
  • Experience working with two or more of the following: embedded systems, web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural image processing, networking, developing large software systems, and/or security software development.
  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.

Brownie Points:
  • Experience with ROS the Robot Operating System
  • Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C#, Objective C, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience working with containers (Docker)
  • Experience in Ansible and Terraform or comparable  configuration language
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
  • Managerial experience 
  • Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve embedded software and tools for interacting with the software.
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
