Position Overview: We are looking for a knowledgeable and client-focused Technical Sales Consultant to drive sales by understanding client needs and recommending tailored IT solutions. In this role, you will blend your technical expertise with strong sales skills to serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring clients understand the value of our solutions to improve their business operations. This role is essential to generating new business and supporting our growth strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential clients to understand their technical requirements, challenges, and goals.
  • Develop and present customized IT solutions that align with client needs, covering managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and more.
  • Conduct product and solution demonstrations, effectively communicating technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, RFP responses, and detailed documentation for potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the internal technical and project teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with service capabilities.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, positioning Kloud9 as a trusted advisor in their IT journey.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to provide insightful recommendations.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets through consistent follow-up and a strategic approach to closing deals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in our CRM.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT services and MSP business models, including cloud computing, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, value-based sales presentations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade decision-makers.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, or AWS) are a plus.

Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in technical sales or consulting, preferably within an MSP or IT solutions environment.

Work Environment:
