Affygility Solutions is recruiting for a full-time, primarily-remote, Assistant Quality Assurance and Copy Editor Specialist in the area of manuscript generation to join our team of scientists supporting the pharmaceutical industry. Affygility Solutions works with companies in over 70 countries and continues to experience significant year-on-year growth.


The Associate Quality Assurance and Copy Editor Specialist works to ensure that the documents produced conform to all requirements. These requirements include a high level of typographical, grammatical, orthographical, mathematical and factual correctness. The Associate Quality Assurance and Copy Editor Specialist will also work to ensure that all documents conform to the accepted guidelines of structure and format.

This is primarily a remote position. Occasional in-person meetings, for training or other purposes, may be required. This is a full-time position. Work hours will usually be 8 hours per day, and 40 hours per week.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carefully read the highly technical scientific documents (OEL, ADE, and PDE reports) assigned and correct any typographical, grammatical, orthographical, mathematical or factual errors;
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Copy Editor Specialist to ensure a high quality of work; and
  • As necessary, consult with the relevant toxicologist author to resolve any toxicological questions.


Education

This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a scientific or English-related field.

Other requirements


This is a primarily remote position. However, in order to attend occasional in-person meetings, for training and other purposes, the applicant must resided and maintain a residence in the Denver metro area (within 75 miles).
