The QA/QC Specialist will contribute to the implementation of QA/QC management system to ensure 100% accuracy of all products conformed to specs.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform the QA/QC functions of all products shipped and provide support & guidance to the manufacturing facility when developing consistent standards.
  • Facilitate and sustain the introduction of ISO standards and code of practice for the facility.
  • Provide Quality Management Leadership addressing performance, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as primary quality contact for manufacturing related quality issues managing resolution across multiple sites to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Standardize processes, procedures and where appropriate work instructions based on product line.
  • Ensure that the facility is able to meet customer expectations in regard to Quality compliance and delivery performance.
  • Regularly review current Management Systems and improve effectiveness to deliver in-line with expectations.
  • Have working knowledge of highly technical, complex measurement equipment for downhole wireline tools.
  • Establish uniform performance management reporting across the product line to trace internal and external quality performance.


  • Associate degree or equivalent from two year/technical school in electronics/mechanical technology. 
  • 5 or more years of experience in a QA/QC or related field
  • Experience in oil & gas industry or industrial environment preferred 
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, SAP_B1…and a working knowledge of document storage practices to coincide with ISO standards
  • Excellent record-keeping skills and an attention to detail -- a MUST.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel, Outlook and Word.
