The Warehouse Specialist will contribute to meet shipping and receiving deadlines in a rapid pace environment that consists an array of warehouse functions to include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and coordinating shipment arrangement,  managing, organizing, cycle counting to ensure 100% accuracy of all inventory items on shelves.


Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
 

·         RECEIVING:

o   Verify items received – confirm what was ordered and delivered from the packing slip to actual counts of items delivered.

o   Verify packing slip to PO, post received items into computer systems, put items promptly to stock.

o   Notification to ENG of ENG POs arriving

o   Coordinating the customer and vendor return process and resolve delivery problems and issues

·         PICK & PULL (MATERIAL HANDLING):

o   Pick parts for jobs

o   Pick parts for Material Requisitions after approved by Supply Chain

o   Complete transactions in ERP system for Production Jobs. Loans and Material Requisitions

o   When items arrive that are shortages to current Production jobs, pull parts, take to Production and complete transactions in ERP.

·         INVENTORY CONTROL:

o   Perform cycle count counts to include researching, adjusting, and correcting inventory discrepancies as well as implementing improvement step to prevent re-occurrence

o   If it an item is in the wrong location move to the correct location

o   Assign home bins and perform inventory move transactions on ERP as necessary.

·         SHIPPING:

o   Run & review Pick and Pack manager report daily

o   Print Pick lists

o   Pick & package parts from Pick Lists generated daily

o   Coordinate the movement of shipment (domestic and international) and freight according to customer requirements.

o   Generate Shipping documents & ship items to customers

·         MAINTENANCE & SAFETY

o   Maintaining an orderly and safe work area.

o   Regularly inspect and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hand tools, labeling machines, etc.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution

·         Warehouse experience of 2-5 years

·         Forklift certified and can lift-up to 50 lbs

·         Excellent record-keeping skills and an attention to detail --  a MUST.

·         Basic PC skills

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel, Outlook and Word.

·         IATA & DOT Certified Desired

·         Dangerous Goods packing and documenting experience

·         International shipping experience (desired but not required)

Hours are 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Full benefit package offered including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401K plan, holidays and PTO.
