The Production Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the production process to ensure that products are safely produced to the highest quality, on-time to customer promised/due date, and within budgets.  Commit to the continuous improvement culture by embracing and driving lean enterprise systems throughout the manufacturing processes that meet and/or exceed organizational goals/metrics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Promotes, provides, and drives Probe’s philosophy of continuous improvement in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity

  • Drives standardization through the implementation of technical standards to help maximize reputability, quality, compatibility and safety
  • Provides leadership and mentorship to team members with regards to quality, safety, productivity, staffing and employee relations
  • Enforces policies and procedures for employees to follow requiring employee engagement and accountability.
  • Continuously evaluates and measures current production performance against forecast and targeted KPI metrics
  • Works closely with Supply Chain and Warehouse/Logistics teams on fulfilling sales orders per required / needed dates.
  • Coordinate plant activities through planning and utilizing resources to insure the manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Ensure the optimal use of human, technical, financial and material resources in achieving manufacturing goals
  • Implement cost effective systems of control over materials, equipment, and labor
  • Provides clear communication with workforce; ensure departmental work methods are compatible with company standards and customer requirements
  • Ensure the compliance of safety, health, environmental and quality guidelines and policies, and as required by regulations and customer requirements
  • Participates in the hiring/orientation process of new employees
  • Responsible for supervision and evaluation of employee job performance


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Technical Competencies
    • Minimum 2 year technical degree, preferably in electrical/electronic engineering technology discipline.
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a ISO certified manufacturing setting for the oil & gas industry.
    • Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
    • Possess a good understanding of business operating or MRP system, SAP-B1 or its compatible.
    • APICS – CPIM certified highly desirable

Work Environment:

  • Operates in a demanding, fast-paced, people-oriented manufacturing environment with frequent changes and interruptions, and multiple project assignments
  • Works with a variety of people including vendors, customers, employees, team members, and managers

Required Work Schedule:

  • Typically works standard business hours; 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
  • Must be flexible for occasional meetings and responsibilities outside of standard business hours including weekends
  • Travel and overnight trips may happen on occasion
