What you will be doing:
As the Business Development Manager, you will work with current and new customers on identifying their needs and creating a market strategy to increase sales in your assigned territory. Your primary duty is to drive growth and achieve all targets.
What your primary responsibilities will be:
- Leads generation and conversion
- Seek out and close new opportunities
- Service and grow existing businesses in the territory, taking into consideration volume, profitability, and predetermined targets
- Execute the organization’s sales process in assigned territory
- Foster strong relationships with clients
- Communicate and follow up with clients in a timely manner
- Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to inform and optimize business strategies, ensuring alignment with industry trends and identifying growth opportunities
- Occasionally assist in the development and implementation of sales projects outside the sales territory
- Cross-functional collaboration with product, tech, AM, marketing to tailor offering based on client needs
- Manage any account maintenance of any Luminys equipment through problem solving, product updates, or training sessions for the client
- Leverage the CRM, documenting all customer information in the CRM
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
What you will need:
- 2+ years of experience as a Sales or Pre-Sales Engineer
- ICT industry or related industry preferred
- Able to work independently with minimal direction
- Aptitude to learn products and maintain product knowledge
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Customer focused and dedicated to exceeding the expectations of internal and external clients
- Top-notch verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding listening skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and computer skills including computer fluency in MS Office
- Bilingual (Chinese and English) required
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time if needed
- May be required to stand for long periods of time
- Constantly operates a computer and possibly other work-related machinery
- Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine including repetitive motions
- Constantly receiving detailed information through oral communication
- Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of verbal communication
- Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances
- May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and noise levels
- May be required to travel up to 50% of the time dependent on the role
