What you will be doing:
As a Distribution Sales Manager, your job will be to focus on trusted partnerships with distributors at the highest organizational level, leading to overall sales growth. You must ensure that our indirect channel partners are aggressively representing and promoting Luminys branded products in all their activities. And along with focusing on the distributors, you will also help support other Sales team members, to ensure that Luminys is maximizing our opportunities in the channel for growth.
What your primary responsibilities will be:
- Achieve Revenue and profitability for Luminys Products as they are sold into all Luminys Branded segments
- Establish an environment and foundation for future sales growth, by forecasting and driving inventory at the distribution level
- Directs the selling activities with targeted distribution promotions, focused on new product launches, overstocked merchandise at Luminys, and product life cycle. Prioritizes effectively and in accordance with corporate objectives
- Efficiently communicate with the regional sales team, while working in conjunction with the other Luminys business teams and Luminys Partner Program, to ensure attention and growth
- Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identifying trends that effect current and future growth of everyday sales and profitability
- Overnight traveling to client site, events based on business needs
What you will need:
- Experience: 3-5 years of Security/Video Surveillance industry or related industry preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Top-notch verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding listening skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organizational and computer skills including computer fluency in MS Office
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time if needed
- May be required to stand for long periods of time
- Constantly operates a computer and possibly other work related machinery
- Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine including repetitive motions
- Constantly receiving detailed information through oral communication
- Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of verbal communication
- Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances
- May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and noise levels
- May be required to travel up to 50% of the time dependent on the role
