Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for actively hunting new business opportunities as well as managing customer satisfaction for existing clients (focus on fortune 500 end user verticals). This role requires a highly energetic individual with impeccable drive who possesses a proven track record in the successful development and management of an organization’s overall planning and marketing strategies. A true hunter. The Business Development Manager is an integral team player that is responsible for conveying and maintaining a positive image to all external and internal contacts through effective planning, programs, special events, professional affiliations and various media advertising

Territory: Eastern US 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops strategies for establishing partnerships and business relationships to market Dahua products or services
  • Collaborates with internal departments, such as marketing, sales, and engineering, and external partners and allies in the development and implementation of ecommerce strategies, plans, and business models
  • Seeks out and researches prospective projects through making phone calls, traveling for business meetings, attending conferences, and utilizing the Internet
  • Markets new and existing customers through creation, development, and implementation of various business solutions
  • Manages relationships with various prospects, clients, and partners in the end-user vertical market environment, which include but are not limited to building management(commercial/residential) central station, retail, health care, agriculture, construction, transportation and gaming
  • Estimates demand for proposed projects based on market research and consumer trends
  • Provides support to upper management in deal negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and other business development or alliance development projects
  • Assists the marketing department with the planning of marketing and promotions, including advertising, special sales, and subsidiary rights
  • Provides input to the management team on new product or service features to be developed to meet current and future customer needs
  • Provides guidance and support to junior business development staff
  • Researches and learns all new emerging technologies and trends

Required Education and Experience

  • BS/BA degree and five plus years of relevant experience; MBA Preferred
  • Industry Experience to support the development and execution of the company’s growth strategy
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving skills
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal, sales and marketing skills as well as demonstrated ability to collaborate across a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Must have outstanding multi-tasking and teamwork capabilities, an entrepreneurial mindset, be self-driven and execution focused, able to use financial and forecasting models
  • Frequent travel is required – up to 60%

Compensation

Dahua Technology is offering an attractive base salary plus commission, depending on experience.
