Job Responsibilities/What you will do:

  • Analyze and Model Data: Conduct quantitative analyses to interpret data from diverse aerospace applications, including atmospheric and airspace surveillance data, identifying patterns, assessing risks, and creating predictive models.

  • Develop Mathematical Models: Design models that quantify atmospheric and operational effects on aviation systems, enhancing safety and performance in both manned and unmanned aircraft environments.

  • Collaborate Across Projects: Engage with cross-functional teams, providing actionable insights to support projects in traffic management, threat detection, and persistent surveillance.

  • Translate Complex Data: Convert complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for various aerospace applications, facilitating decision-making for advanced aviation technologies.

  • Stay Updated: Research and apply emerging mathematical and analytical techniques to solve evolving challenges within aerospace, maintaining a cutting-edge approach to data analysis.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, including MATLAB and Python.

  • Strong foundation in advanced mathematics and analytical techniques, with experience in data interpretation and model development.

  • Ability to adapt to new aerospace concepts and tackle real-world data challenges.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with aerospace, surveillance, or atmospheric research projects.

  • Knowledge of machine learning or statistical analysis techniques.

  • Strong communication skills for presenting complex data insights to interdisciplinary teams.
