Benefits Data Analyst

Beneration has helped transform the employee benefit industry with cutting edge financial technology solutions. We digest thousands of data points from insurance carriers, invoices, and benefit administration systems to give employers and brokers much-needed clarity and risk mitigation related to their monthly insurance spend. In a nutshell, we make sure that when companies are paying for employee benefits, they are paying the correct amount, to the correct carriers, for the correct people.

The collection, processing, and reconciliation of employee benefits administration data and carrier invoices is typically a complicated, expensive, and time-consuming process for employers, and our comprehensive suite of technologies and services ensures that businesses can manage their employee benefits programs with ease and precision.

Beneration is a fast-growing startup that has clients ranging from major national brands to fifty-person employers. Our goal is to be able to serve as many employers as possible and we are currently investing heavily in developing the next generation of our software platform.

We are looking for a data-oriented, self-starter to join our team as a Benefits Data Analyst. This role focuses on ingesting benefits administration data from our clients to prepare for analysis against the invoices created by their health insurance carriers. An ideal candidate has a passion for data and thrives in a team environment. As you develop in the role, your responsibilities will expand into technical implementation of new clients and/or scaling automation processes.

  • Collaborate with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) teams to automate data collection, processing, and reporting tasks.
  • Work with our Product team to give feedback on the software and to improve methods for communicating findings to clients and support their decision-making processes.
  • Troubleshooting - Collaborate with the internal team (onboarding, invoice collection, bill-pay, etc.) and clients directly to troubleshoot and resolve reporting and delivery roadblocks.
  • Maintain clear process documentation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to benefits administration and data management.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of our benefits administration processes.
