Job Overview:
The Operations Associate is a critical role at Higher Purpose Co and will build the operational routines, processes, tools, and systems that enhance the effectiveness of our organization, align with our deep economic justice values and passion for change. You will hold down the finance and administration, people operations, and systems work for the organization

Your roles and responsibilities may include:
Administration
Maintain a tidy and welcoming office space
Manage office, event supplies, and healthy snacks
Manage event logistics for team and board meetings
Act as liaison with Higher Purpose HQ
Support staff travel and calendaring as requested
Maintain admin email account and phone system
Maintain IT systems, staff laptops, and accessories
Review key documents and develop reports
Manage organizational calendars (employee time off, events, etc)
Support other HPC special projects as requested
Finance
Support payroll and expense reports for HPC staff
Support monthly reconciliations and annual audit
Process payments to vendors
People Operations
Collaborate on team cohesion through monthly staff meetings and bi-annual planning meetings (agenda setting, communications, and logistics)
Support recruitment by sourcing leads, updating recruitment tracking system, posting jobs, and communicating with candidates as needed
Coordinate the new hire process, ensuring employees are set up and ready to go on their first day of work
Project manage the team on organizational management deliverables, such as quarterly goal setting, performance reviews, individual goal setting, etc...
Organize team events, holiday celebrations, social events, and staff-wide retreats
Collaborate with HPC teammates to develop and implement initiatives that promote HPC mission and values
Desired Qualifications
Love of project management, organizational effectiveness, structure, systems, and/or operations highly desired
Excellent communication skills: must be able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and with partners and funders
Proficient with the Google Suite of applications (Mail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc...) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Ability to produce high-quality work products under tight deadlines
Some experience in operations or related work preferred
Some experience or knowledge of non-profits a plus
Detail-oriented self-starter
Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This is a full-time exempt position. The salary is $35,600 with competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, long term disability coverage, paid time off, flexible work schedule including working from home occasionally, 13 paid holidays, and more.
