Distributed Solar Development, LLC (DSD) is seeking to fill the role of Solar Technical Planner to join our industry leading team.  In this role, you will work with on our Asset management team to manage Planning of required Preventive maintenance, site mobilizations for unplanned events, issue tracking, supplier management, site host coordination and to aid in the documentation and resolution of unplanned issues at sites.

Responsibilities

  • Project turnover process
    • Confirming new projects in Asset Management platform
      • Project level info
      • Capturing site-level requirements per turnover
      • Scheduling Planned maintenance from Milestone dates
      • Uploading Contacts                     
    • New Project Turnover with site host customer
      • Capture relevant site data
      • Customer Site access protocols
      • Customer Site safety protocols
      • Communication of DSD contacts and protocols
  • Supplier Management
    • Managing supplier Mobilizations
    • Issue and event tracking
    • Communication of project specifics to responding suppliers
    • Site access coordination between customers and suppliers
    • Supplier Site Reporting
  • Site host Customer Management
    • Coordination with Site host for planned maintenance/unplanned maintenance
    • Setting up Performance and issue reporting
    • Customer communications
    • Tracking customer issues/events
  • Scheduling
    • Coordinate and Schedule Planned and Unplanned Maintenance at site
    • Coordinate and schedule Ancillary services
      • Vegetative maintenance
      • Module cleaning
  • Supporting DSD technical and performance teams
    • Site Access
    • Reporting
    • Monitoring
      • Data Analysis
    • Communications
      • site host and supplier
  • All other Duties as assigned

 

 

What makes a great Asset Management technical Planner?

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Professional experience in technical planning or related fields
  • Willing to aid in the generation of better process management, creating initiatives to increase the efficiency of transactional items and tracking methods.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines and short turnarounds while sustaining rigorous attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, fast learner, and excited to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Willing to challenge oneself by constantly learning and raising hands to solve problems and increase overall efficiency
  • Comfortable with thinking outside the box and patiently seeking solutions when being challenged with tough problems
